Join our team as an Assistant Manager overseeing family-owned and operated shaved ice/ice cream shops in Wauconda and Palatine, IL. We seek an organized and detail-oriented individual to ensure efficient inventory processes for optimal daily operations. This unique part-time position offers a competitive yearly salary, an average commitment of 25 hours per week, and the flexibility of remote work. This position operates during an 8-month season, allowing for 4 months off!

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Track and manage inventory levels for products and supplies.

• Place orders and coordinate timely deliveries with suppliers.

• Organize deliveries, delegate tasks, and stock fresh ingredients.

​

Shop Supervision:

• Monitor staff for efficient inventory procedures.

• Oversee opening and closing procedures.

• Ensure all locations adhere to cleanliness and organizational standards.

• Monitor equipment functionality and maintenance.

• Cultivate a positive work environment.

Requirements:

​

• Experience in inventory management and operations, preferably in food service.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Primary morning availability with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.  

• Adaptability to seasonal scheduling fluctuations from March to October.
